The new Chair of the National Association of Music Educators is FIONA PENDREIGH, who is currently Arts Council Relationship Manager for 14 Music Education Hubs in the South West and previously was Specialist Music Adviser and Primary Phase Adviser for Devon County Council. She takes over from JAMES GARNETT.

MARIE NIXON, who previously headed the Arts Council England communications team in the North, has become Chief Executive Officer of the Students’ Union at the University of Sunderland. A Fellow of the Clore Leadership Programme, she takes over from Sue Masters who is taking early retirement.
EMMA MCFARLAND has been appointed as Executive Director at Swindon Dance, joining Artistic Director MARIE MCCLUSKEY.

Sarah McCrory will join Glasgow International Festival of Art as Festival Director for 2014-2016. She has spent the past two years as curator of Frieze Foundation, a non-profit organisation responsible for the curated programme of Frieze Art Fair.
