PETER OUNDJIAN is to succeed STÉPHANE DENÈVE as Music Director of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. And THOMAS SØNDERGÅRD has been appointed to the revived position of Principal Guest Conductor.

JUDITH WEBSTER will become the new Chief Executive of Music for Youth when LINCOLN ABBOTTS leaves to join ABRSM. She steps down from her current position as Project Manager of Youth Music’s Youth Music Voices.

The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) has appointed Chief Associate Director GREGORY DORAN, to succeed MICHAEL BOYD as Artistic Director. He began his career with RSC as an actor in the 1987/88 season.

PHILIP BROADHEAD is to become Deputy Rector at University of the Arts London. He leaves his post as Pro-Warden (Students and Learning Development) at Goldsmiths University to succeed PROFESSOR ELIZABETH ROUSE, who will retire in August.

CARRIE CRACKNELL is the second recipient of the Genesis Fellowship at the Young Vic Theatre. She was formerly Artistic Director of the Gate Theatre.

M6 Theatre Company’s Artistic Producer DOT WOOD will leave at the end of July. She has been with the company for 30 years.

Brighton Dome and Festival has a new Artistic Planning team: TANYA PETERS heads up the team as Senior Producer, having worked on the festival for six years; Live Programmer LAURA DECCESCHI is the new Music Producer; ORLA FLANAGAN has left her post as General Manager of Gate Theatre to become Theatre Producer; and JODY YEBGA has left the programming department to become Commercial Programme Manager.
