CHRIS MASTERS has announced his decision to step down as Chairman of the Festival City Theatres Trust. He has held the position for 11 years.

Scottish Opera has appointed French conductor EMMANUEL JOEL-HORNAK as its new Music Director, the fifth person to hold the role in the company’s 50-year history.
PAUL GUDGIN has been announced as the new City of London Festival Director. He was previously Director of Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival.
LUCIE PEMBERTON has left her role as Press and Marketing Officer at the Asian Art Agency to become Marketing Manager for Christmas at the Spiegeltent.
PAUL HOBSON is the new Director of Modern Art Oxford. He joins from the Contemporary Art Society, where he has been Director since 2007.
The new Festival Director of Edinburgh International Festival is former Chief Executive and Artistic Director of the Sydney Festival, FERGUS LINEHAN. He will plan for his first Edinburgh Festival in 2015.
Letchworth Garden City has appointed MARK PRESCOTT as its first Creative Producer. He was previously Head of Cultural Campaigns in the London Mayor’s office.
CHRIS RICKETTS will be stepping down as Artistic Director of Sherman Cymru in Cardiff to pursue other interests in the arts sector. He has been in the role since 2007.
CAROLINE BARTH will be the new Head of Learning at Derby Theatre. She is currently the Creative School Consultant for The Mighty Creatives, the regional development agency for young people’s creativity.

Marketing and Press Manager of Watford Palace Theatre, EMILY ROLLINGS, is stepping down after three years to pursue a career in graphic design. Her post will be filled by an interim appointment, VICTORIA KEARNS.
