CHRIS DENTON is hanging up his consultancy hat after fours year to take up the position of Director of Marketing and Communications at London’s Southbank Centre. Previously Director of Marketing and New Media at the Barbican, Denton has provided consultancy services to the National Gallery, the British Council, English National Ballet and the Crafts Council.

The new Artistic Director for Tiata Fahodzi is NATALIE IBU, who was most recently Creative Producer for Derby Theatre. She replaces LUCIAN MSAMATI, who steps down after four years in post.
PROFESSOR CHRIS BAILEY is the new Chair of the Board for Pilot Theatre. Most recently Dean of Arts, Environment and Technology at Leeds Metropolitan University, Bailey has held senior management positions in art and design higher education, published research on cultural policy and worked as a consultant in the cultural sector.
Managing Director of Parkwood Theatres, GARY RODEN, is stepping down to take up the position of Business Development Director for Theatre and the Arts at Ticketmaster UK. He was previously General Manager of Edinburgh Playhouse.
After directing two editions of Art15 Fair, STEPHANIE DIECHVOSS is stepping down to focus on her academic and arts management consultancy work. KATE BRYAN, who was previously Director of Contemporary Art at The Fine Art Society, will be Fair Director for the third edition.
Hull’s Creative People and Places project, Roots and Wings, has appointed its core staff team. ISABELLE TRACY, who has worked in arts and community development in Hull for many years, has been appointed Project Director. She is joined by three Project Managers: SARAH TAYLOR, CLARE HUBY and MICHAEL ANTHONY BARNES-WYNTERS.
The Universal Music Group has made DICKON STAINER President and Chief Executive of Global Classics, with responsibility for its entire classical output including Deutsche Grammophon, Decca and Sinfini Music.

The new Artistic Director for Plymouth Arts Centre is independent curator and writer BEN BORTHWICK. He will lead the organisation whilst current Executive Director KATE SPARSHATT is on long-term adoption leave. Borthwick’s previous roles include CEO and Artistic Director of Artes Mundi and Assistant Curator at Tate Modern.
Chief Executive of Birmingham Royal Ballet, CHRISTOPHER BARRON will stand down in July 2015 after ten years in post. Following his departure Barron said he plans to “seek projects that inspire me, to mentor new generations of arts managers and assist companies going through all the economic and cultural changes that are necessary today”.
JOHN NICHOLLS, Managing Partner of Arts Quarter, has been appointed as Chair of the Board of Greenwich Dance.
