Jazz Services Ltd has appointed HEULWEN PHILLIPS to the newly created role of Project Director. Currently Development Manager for Armonico Consort, Phillips will lead on the company’s transition to a new operating model, following its loss of Arts Council England National Portfolio funding. All regular activities will be suspended from April and the organisation hopes to relaunch later in 2015.
The new Chair of the Board of Trustees for The Audience Agency is SHEILA HEALY. She was previously Chief Executive of Cornwall and Shropshire Councils, and is a trustee of Arts Council England and Chair of Arts Council England South West.
HOWARD BUCKLEY also joins the organisation as Marketing Director. He leaves the Arts Marketing Association where he was Head of Membership.
Chair of Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre, PAUL LEE is stepping down after more than 14 years. He is succeeded by BEN CALDWELL, a business angel investor and member of Ashoka, an organisation which supports social entrepreneurs.
PROFESSOR MAURICE BIRIOTTI will take over as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Spitalfields Music when SIR ALAN MOSES steps down in September. Biriotti is Professor of Medical Humanities and Enterprise at University College London and Co-Founder and Chief Executive of strategic consultancy SHM.
