Stanley Arts announces new artistic director

LOUISA BARTLETT-PESTELL will become the new CEO and artistic director of Stanley Arts, succeeding DANIEL WINDER, who leaves after five years at the south London arts and performance venue.

Bartlett-Pestell joins the Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation from artsdepot, where she has been director of programming and participation for over six years.

Previously, she was participation producer and programmer for performance and dance at Southbank Centre, founder and artistic director at Arts Odyssey, and
chair of the board of trustees at Dance Woking.

Bartlett-Pestell said: “As a local resident, I am passionate about the vital role Stanley Arts plays within the community. It is a truly unique and special place, and I am honoured to lead the organisation into this exciting new chapter.

“Stanley Arts has achieved so much in recent years, and I am eager to build on this strong foundation. I am committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere for artists and the wider community, working closely with the team to ensure Stanley Arts continues to thrive as a dynamic hub for creativity and culture.”
