Royal Exchange welcomes new board members

JO TAYLOR, GURJEET SINGH and EVA SCOTT have joined the board of the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester.

Taylor is the co-founder of Fly a Kite, which aims to help organisations grow and diversify their audiences. She spent four years as Director of Audiences at Rambert and nine years as Director of Morris Hargreaves McIntyre, where she worked on the rebrands of Shakespeare's Globe and Bristol Beacon.

She was previously a trustee and Chair of the Arts Marketing Association.

An actor who trained in the Royal Exchange’s Young Company, Singh has performed on stage, television, film and radio. He is also a Royal Exchange freelance practitioner, delivering workshops to the Young Company and young people around Manchester.

Scott is an actor and writer who facilitates courses at The LAB Project, a social enterprise designed to build confidence and well-being in unemployed adults in Greater Manchester.

She has also sat on the audition panel at LAMDA and works as a workshop facilitator for the school's Access and Widening Participation workshops that aim to demystify the audition process for prospective drama school students.
