Theatre Royal Plymouth welcomes new trustees

Theatre Royal Plymouth (TRP) has appointed nine new members to its Board of Trustees.

They include co-founder and Director of Crowdfunder DAWN BEBE, Creative Director of North Somerset based charity Trigger ANGIE BUAL and Casting Director at the National Theatre ALASTAIR COOMER.

Dean of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences at Plymouth Marjon University SARAH MCADAM, former headteacher JULIE NASH and Senior Producer at Arts & Homelessness International SAMRA SAID have also joined the board.

They are joined by performing arts management professional LYNDA GRZELINSKI, former Executive Director of Strategic Development at Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust ANDY IBBS and Co-Director of Nudge Community Builders HANNAH SLOGGETT.

TRP Chief Executive and Executive Producer JAMES MACKENZIE-BLACKMAN, who took up his post in January, said he is thrilled to have appointed "such exceptional and such diverse talent."

"I am sure [they] will help us navigate the months and years ahead whilst remaining creatively ambitious and courageous," he added.
