Nelson promoted to London Area Director role at ACE

TONYA NELSON will be taking on the role of London Area Director at Arts Council England (ACE) when JOYCE WILSON retires in August. Nelson has been the Arts Council’s Director, Arts Technology and Innovation since 2019. Her previous positions included Director of Museums and Cultural Programmes at University College London and Head of Governance and Planning at London Transport Museum.  She is a trustee of the National Gallery, Chair of the International Council of Museums, and a former Clore Leadership Fellow and British Council Cultural Leadership International Fellow.
