ANDREW MOSELY will take on the role of Chair at Longborough Festival Opera on 1 September.

He succeeds LIZZIE GRAHAM, who served as Interim Chair following the departure of her husband, the festival’s co-founder MARTIN GRAHAM after a 20-year stint.

Mosley’s career spans 30 years in senior corporate leadership and commercial finance in the UK and US. He has experience as a board level advisor in sectors including financial services, technology, media and consumer products.

Now retired, he chairs the Swedish management consultancy Metapraxis Nordic AB, where he was previously Director until 2020.

He is also a trustee and treasurer at Cosman Kelle Art and Music Trust.

The Grahams' daughter, POLLY GRAHAM is Artistic Director of Longborough Festival Opera. She expressed her gratitude to her parents.

"Without their energy and drive, this festival would not exist.

"We continue to be inspired by their tenacity and daring, and intend to keep taking exciting artistic risks as we plan for the future, sharing great opera with as many people as possible."

Mosely commented: “Our artists and musicians are in outstanding form, and we have continued energy and a fresh vision for taking forward the commitment to excellence and innovation which has characterised Longborough's work since the festival was co-founded by Martin and Lizzie Graham in 1991.

“I look forward to supporting the festival as it reaches yet greater heights of artistic achievement.”
