The Albany appoints new faces

VICKI AMEDUME and SUD BASU have both been appointed Associate Director at The Albany to shape its programme for London Borough of Culture, due to take place in Lewisham in 2022. 

Amedume is an artist working across circus, theatre and outdoor arts. She is Artistic Director and CEO of Upswing, a leading contemporary circus company.

Basu is an independent creative director and consultant. He was Commissioning Producer for 14-18 NOW and an artistic advisor for Jerwood Arts.

The Albany also announced MATTHEW COOK as its new Senior Producer. A creative producer experienced in delivering events in venue and festival settings, he joins from Spitalfields Music following previous roles as Programmer at EartH and Village Underground. 

KIRSTY COLLANDER-BROWN, formerly Head of Youth Programmes has taken on a new role as Head of Engagement.
