Simon has run his own Liverpool-based consultancy for the past 18 years, providing support and advice to small organisations without internal HR expertise. During that time, he’s worked with a variety of smaller arts and media organisations. His aim is to provide practical and straightforward assistance, and show clients that good people management makes business sense. He recently published Happy Working Relationships, a plain English guide for managers and business owners to employment law and people management (which has been shortlisted for the CMI Management Book of the Year 2018).
