Winchester Theatre Royal and Hat Fair become Live Theatre Winchester

Winchester Theatre Royal and Britain’s longest running street arts festival , Hat Fair, are joining up to  become one organisation, Live Theatre Winchester. Under the new model the Hat Fair will bring performances to the city year-round, including education and outreach programmes, and will be able to offer their services indoors. Director of The Hat Fair, Kate Hazel stressed that the event itself will not change “but it will develop an extra dimension that will see even more exciting, diverse and talked-about performances coming to Hat Fair – whatever the weather.”
