Backlash against Welsh council’s plan to cut music in schools

A petition to ‘save Wrexham music services’, which are under threat after Wrexham Council suggested £300k could be saved by cutting their funding, has been signed by 4,500 people. The Welsh Government’s portfolio holder for culture, Ken Skates, has also expressed concern about the proposal.
