Revoluton Arts welcomes new executive director
FIONA ROSS has been named executive director of Revoluton Arts following the departure of HELEN WILLMMOTT, who is beginning a new freelance career.
Ross joins the Luton-based arts charity in October after two decades working in strategic leadership, programme design and project management.
Her previous posts include senior management roles at arts organisations, including Sadler’s Wells, Rambert, the Greater London Authority (City Hall), Dance Consortium and Fallen Angels Dance Theatre.
She is chair of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire arts charity BEEE Creative and is also a trustee at Protein Dance.
Revoluton’s CEO and creative director, LINDSEY PUGH, said: “I’m delighted Fiona will be joining the team at this pivotal moment, as we build from foundations laid over the last two years – as a new independent organisation – and look forward with excitement to collaboratively deliver the vision.”
On her new appointment, Ross said: “Revoluton Arts’ bold vision and community-driven programming are inspiring, and I’m incredibly excited to join Lindsey and the team as executive director.
“I am passionate about community collaboration and creative exploration and look forward to bringing my skills to the organisation at this exciting time in my home area of Luton.”
